Margaret M. Oruko
— Vice National Secretary
The current Vice National Secretary is Margaret Mokeira Oruko. She was elected during the 7th Annual General Meeting held on the 30th June 2017 at the Cooperative University of Kenya, Nairobi.
Margaret is a Senior Assistant Office Administrator working with the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government and deployed in the State Department of Immigration and Registration of Persons Headquarters – Nyayo House. She has been an active member of the Association since 2012.
She was part of the Organizing Committee that planned for the successful KENASA National Elections held at Kasarani in 2014, where she served as the Chief of Protocol.
She was part of the Organizing Committee that saw the successful launch of KENASA Nairobi Chapter which was held at Technical University of Kenya.
She was part of the Steering Committee that saw the successful celebration of the International Secretaries Day in Kenya which was held at the Kenya Bankers’ Association Hall in 2015.
She played a key role in the process of compiling and composing the KENASA Nairobi Anthem. She also composed a song for KENASA Nairobi Choir which sang at the Kisumu during the 5th Annual General Conference.
